Myth High Elbow

There is a huge myth in swim teaching: The so called “High Elbow”. In many forums, lots of coaches and swimmers discuss the “high elbow” as a remedy for all problems involved while swimming crawl. But how should it look like in reality? This video gives you the answer and will show with which easy drills you make everything perfect!

In the sixth part of my online course (you have to scroll down some what on the page to get to the overview) I discuss this topic in detail and demonstrate how it should look. There are a lot of practice exercises for the under water phase as well. For example an exercise I call “the zipper”.
